Title: The educational value of poverty: between ecology and righs
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the theme of poverty through the cultural mediation of two thinkers distant in time as well as in the research perspectives, but who find an element of communion in the extraordinary figure of St. Francis. We are talking about the Jesuit scientist and theologian Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben. The occasion allows to identify an alternative formation path compared to that of the dominant culture, whose horizon is in the mere consumption, of goods and of human beings. The dignity of the evangelical beatitudes as a point of reference and desire for redemption is a proposal, entirely formative, which does not give advantages of image. Precisely for this reason it is right to point it out, as if it were a bet on man and his ability to reappropriate that "move towards", which is a distinctive figure of the French Jesuit, but not alien to the Italian philosopher on another field of investigation: the form of life. The text moves on a theoretical background of hermeneutical character and aims to offer interpretative insights on some major themes of contemporary life.

Abstract: Lo scopo di questo scritto è di riflettere sul tema della povertà attraverso la mediazione culturale di due pensatori lontani nel tempo come nelle prospettive di ricerca, ma che trovano un elemento di comunione nella straordinaria figura di San Francesco. Stiamo parlando dello scienziato e teologo gesuita Pierre Teilhard de Chardin e del filosofo italiano Giorgio Agamben. L'occasione consente di individuare un percorso di formazione alternativo rispetto a quello della cultura dominante, il cui orizzonte è nel mero consumo, di merci e di esseri umani. La dignità delle beatitudini evangeliche come punto di riferimento e volontà di riscatto, è proposta, tutta formativa, che non dà vantaggi d'immagine. Proprio per questo è giusto indicarla, quasi si trattasse di una scommessa sull'uomo e la sua capacità di riappropriarsi di quel "muovere verso", che è cifra distintiva del gesuita francese, ma non estranea al filosofo italiano su di un altro terreno d'indagine: la forma-di-vita. Il testo si muove su di uno sfondo teorico di carattere ermeneutico e si propone di offrire spunti interpretativi su alcuni grandi temi della contemporaneità.
